Presentation of H2Nodes Hydrogen Refuelling Stations in Riga and Arnhem (videos)

You are invited to watch the below videos to get a virtual presentation of the H2Nodes Hydrogen Refuelling Stations!

Presentation of H2Nodes Hydrogen Refuelling Station in Riga (video)

Rigas Satiksme, public transport operator and H2Nodes project coordinator’s HRS, has been in operation since the end of 2019, supporting their fleet of 10 Solaris Trollino 18.75H hydrogen trolleybuses. These operate as alternative zero emission public transport option to conventionally fuelled trolley buses in Riga, Latvia.

Hydrogen at the station is produced by a steam methane reforming process and has a production capacity of 300 kg / day. Hydrogen is stored in a storage facility located on the site and the total amount of hydrogen that can be stored is 600 kg. Production and storage capacity allow the HRS to supply at least 10 trolleybuses, 5 buses and 5 cars per day with hydrogen with a 350-bar and 700-bar dispenser on site.

The deployment in Arnhem focused on light duty vehicles, with a support scheme set up for the purchase and operation of up to 90 passenger car vehicles by local users. In addition, 2 fuel cell buses operated by Keolis have refuelled in Arnhem since the station began operation in September 2019. The fuel cell buses have a hydrogen tank capacity of 30kg and range of 450km total.  Hydrogen is produced via an SMR facility using Biogas, situated approximately 100m from the dispenser and transported to the refuelling site via pipeline.

The HyGear production facility produces hydrogen via an SMR facility using Biogas, situated approximately 100m from the dispenser and transported to the refuelling site via pipeline. The HRS has a capacity of 260kg per day.
